Andrew Cowin is one of Australia's Fastest Top Fuel pilot's and secured his Top Fuel licence at age 17. In 1999, Andrew became the world's quickest and fastest teenager with a pass of 4.58@314 mph, and the youngest U.S Nationals finalists in history at age 19. In 2002 Andrew ran low E.T of the NHRA POWERade season with a pass of 4.490 seconds steering the New York Yankees Top Fuel dragster. In 2004 Andrew reset the IHRA world record with a pass of 4.53 seconds.
In Australia, Andrew reset the record books by becoming the first driver in ANDRA history to bust into the 4.7 and 4.6 second marks with passes of 4.75 and 4.61 seconds. Andrew also became the first to break the 500 kph barrier in Australia with a speed of 505 kph (314 mph). In 2006 Andrew top qualified twice in the IHRA and claimed his first U.S top fuel IHRA victory.
