1997:

Earned top fuel license at age 17 with a 4.92-second pass being his first four-second pass. Also the first four second "license" pass in ANDRA history.

1999:
Made NHRA debut; Recorded his first 300mph pass in Phoenix. Andrew became the youngest Top Fuel finalist (19) in NHRA history, posting a runner-up finish to Cory McClenathan at the US Nationals, Indianapolis, his first NHRA career final. The same year Andrew became the quickest and fastest teenager in the world, recording a 4.58 @ 314 mph in Topeka, Kansas. which still stands today.

2000:
Andrew was awarded the Australian Sports medal and was the winner of the Australian Motorsports “Drag Racer of the Year” award.

2001:
Ran over the 320 mph mark the first time in his career in Dallas, Texas.
Andrew recorded top speed of NHRA'S 50th Anniversary event recording 321.12 mph. Andrew advanced to his second NHRA career final round with Kenny Bernstein in Las Vegas, Nevada. Finished 11th in the NHRA Top Fuel points chase running a limited schedule.



2002:
Andrew steering Darryl Gywnn's Top Fuel Dragster, laid down the quickest pass of the NHRA season, recording a 4.490 elapsed time and set the track e.t. record at Pomona Raceway during the season-opening Winternationals en route to first career No. 1 qualifying effort. Andrew qualified No. 1 four times that season and made his 3rd NHRA career final round with Kenny Berstein in St louis, Missouri. Set track speed record at Englishtown with a pass of 327mph. Finished 8th in the Poweraid points standing. Andrew competed in Australia for a one off race in his family's owned team and set low elapsed time, top speed of the event, reset both ends of the record, broke the 500kph barrier and won his first ANDRA career victory over Jim Read in Queensland, Australia.



2003:

Andrew joined the Carrier Boyz Racing team in 2003. He started the year at Pomona in the Big Bud Shoot-Out. Unfortunately due to a non-related racing accident, Andrew returned home for the rest of the NHRA/IHRA season to recover. Twin brother John captured 03/04 ANDRATop fuel championship with 5 event wins and top qualified 5 times. John, also the first to exceed the 320mph barrier in ANDRA history with a pass of 321.98mph that also set the ANDRA speed record.

2004:

Andrew returned to U.S competition to claim the IHRA world E.T. record with a pass of 4.53 seconds at Rockingham Dragway.

2005:
Rounded out the quickest Top Fuel Qualifying field in NHRA history with a 4.59 second run at Pomona. First driver in ANDRA history to run into the 4.6 second range with a pass of 4.61 in Sydney Australia. Claimed his second ANDRA career victory over Steve Read in Sydney Australia.

2006:
Andrew returned to U.S competition steering Scott Griffin's top fuel dragster. Andrew claimed his first IHRA career victory over Bobby Lagana Jr. in Milan, Michigan and set the track speed record at 325mph. Andrew qualified No. 1 two times and also made his second IHRA career final with Corey Maclenathan in Rockingham, North Carolina. Andrew finished 8th in the E-max IHRA points standing. Andrew also Qualified for the quickest field in NHRA history at Indiana's U.S nationals with a pass of 4.57 seconds.
